Gun Cleaner for SOLVENT based Paints

The R9000 is extremely functional and user friendly.

A compact-size unit for solvent-based cleaning. The Double S has 2 working stations, which can both be used simultaneously, independently of each other.

  • Automatic washing station, using re-circulating solvent with an automatic clean rinse
  • Sink for manual cleaning, equipped with a flow-through brush using re-circulating solvent and a spray handle using clean solvent

Gun Cleaner for SOLVENT based Paints

The R3600-SS Gun Cleaner is a semi automatic unit that works in two stages.

The enclosed automatic wash runs for two minutes using recirculating solvent, washing guns internally and externally. The gun is then rinsed manually with clean solvent spray. A compact design for restricted space operation.
*0.5m³ extraction per second away from the face is recommended by Redashe (HSG258).

Health & Safety Guidelines for use of spray gun cleaning machines

DSEAR are regulations to provide protection against risks from fire, explosion and similar events coming from dangerous substances used or present in the work place.

Employer responsibilities:

  • Undertake a risk assessment
  • Have measures to stop or minimise risks as far as is reasonably possible
  • Offer equipment and procedures to help with accidents and emergencies
  • Give information and training to employees
  • Mark places where potential explosive environment could occur into zones and mark the zones where necessary

Control Methods: Zones
All areas designated as zones are to be protected from sources of ignition. Ignition sources must be kept out of the area at all times.

Protective Clothing (PPE)
Inflammable liquids can be a health hazard if ingested or come into contact with skin or eyes or if their vapours are inhaled. Correct PPE must therfore be used at all times when the equipment is being operated.

Ventilation
Any spray gun cleaning should be carried out in either an equipment cleaning machine with the extraction running or into a chamber which is provided with extraction.
